BBKA News
BBKA News published six times per year has within its 24 pages, articles
that cover all aspects of beekeeping, prepared by beekeepers for beekeepers.
Although this newsletter gives the latest updates on technical issues
that have a direct impact on British beekeepers, it also aims much
of its content at the growing number of new beekeepers, and with a
circulation of 16,270 (February 2010) it aims its content at both the
novice and its more experienced members.
BBKA News is a window on the work that is carried out on behalf of the membership
by a growing band of expert volunteers who support the members in Publicity,
Education, and Technical issues and through their reports keep the membership
aware of developments that have a direct impact on them or their associations.
BBKA News also gives a platform to the members Executive Committee to inform
progress (or lack of) in talking/lobbying Government on issues directly affecting
beekeeping and others issues of concern or celebration.
Flag Ship Publication
BBKA News is the ‘flag ship’ publication of the British
Beekeepers’ Association. It is constantly refreshed, it
is informed, it is sometimes witty, it is never dull nor is it too
repetitive, it carries advertisements by services and manufactures
of beekeeping equipment, and for members it is delivered straight to
your door.
This excellent publication prepared by members for members continues
to develop, as with everything in beekeeping the story needs regularly
updating, and the BBKA editorial team and its growing band of contributors
are committed to ongoing improvement.
