Aims of Holidays with Bees Abroad

Our holidays are designed to raise money for beekeeping in the developing world. The main aim is to promote beekeeping projects while giving the opportunity to review their progress.

As well as helping local people, participants have a unique experience that will be difficult to forget!

Rafter Beekeeping in Cambodia
Recently discovered practice of getting Apis dorsata to nest under artificial supports (rafters) to allow sustainable harvesting.

Bee Diversity in Thailand
An opportunity to see five different species of Honeybee, from the tiny Apis andreniformis to the giant Apis dorsata.
