Dear BBKA members and forum users,
If you where a forum member on the old BBKA website you would have noticed that your old account no longer exists. As its a fresh install everybody will need to re-register.
Thanks for your understanding.

Not a very useful message if you can't see the forums until you log in!

Honeyman,
I don't quite understand your message.
Are you saying you would have liked to see the Forum on a read only basis before registering?

Thats the jist of it Rodger. Returned to the BBKA website after an absence, new URL new site, not particularly intuitive navigation. Finally found the forum tried logging in eventually found info tsting that I need to re register. Re registered logged in and could only then see the message stating I that I needed to reregister.
Not impressed by the new site layout - and not averse to change either.
Took me a while to find the forum too - it's under help, which I wuold traditionally associate with help regarding this website, not help for beekeepers. Some messages are not requests for help, but for information, so its seems slightly missplaced on its global page position.

Everything is new. Steve Turner was under pressure to get everything done quicker than expected, and we have all done the best we can under quite difficult circumstances.
In the last couple of weeks we have tried to keep people informed where we can. Please bear with us, as we are trying to make improvements, and so far everybody has been patient and understanding.
Roger Patterson.
