Hi all
Most mornings i come down stairs to find a bumble bee in my consevatry 9 time out of ten it is what can only be described as a very sleepy looking bee. So i carefully let the bee settle on a rag and take it outside. Then within a hour or so another one will apper often a compleatly different colour so not the same bee this happens with all the windows and doors shut. What is going on?? Are there bees sleeping in my house?? This isn't really a problem for me i am just curriouse they seem to do no harm i even named one Jerome.
Also i was reading a little about bumble bees and i think it said somewhere that the only bees to live from one year to the next are the queens which hibernate?? So the fact that i have sleepy bees does this mean that some may be queens how would i know, my bee seem to be quite large. Obviously the number that apper is far to great that they are all queens so do i just have lazy bees.
Cheers for listening
