BBKA Old Forum

Following concern about the movement from the old web site to the new web site, it has become apparent that people had information stored as private messages within the system. Having listened to the representation, we have now arranged for the old forums to be made available (on a read only basis) for a limited period until the 4th June 2008.

It is the BBKA intention that the new boards start afresh and we would grateful if forum users do not copy and paste old threads from the old forum to the new one.

Dear All,

This Easter weekeend has been extremely hectic for all those involved with the Forum with lots of issues to address.

One piece of good news is that the old forum will be left open on a read only basis for some time.

There will be another announcement. Please refer to that for times, etc.

Can I please ask everyone to be thankful and not reopen the discussion.

Concerned about the loss of accumulated knowledge in the old forum I sought a solution. The result is I now have all the discussions from the old forum captured as .pdf files, roughly 110MB across 9 files organised by their particular sub forum, indexed and bookmarked. Most of the images in the original forums have also being captured but some on external servers have been lost.

Hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes by doing this :)
