Nottinghamshire Beekeepers' Association

The 2010 annual Field Day was again very kindly hosted by David Chase and his family at his farm in Weston, Newark, on 13 June.

It was a very successful event with many new and old members getting together for the afternoon, helped along by a magnificent buffet.

We carried out some beekeeping, with a hive set up for new beekeepers to work on and a queen rearing workshop involving grafting practice.

The Association wishes to record its thanks to David and Judith for all their hard work in making the day so enjoyable and letting us experience their excellent hospitality once again.
