Join BIBBA the Bee Improvement and Bee Breeding Association

Get involved in bee breeding. Like all other forms of life bees can be improved by selective breeding. BIBBA encourages beekeepers to work together in breeding groups. Much has been achieved but more could be done by beekeepers working together. Subs are £20 per annum and the Bee Improvement magazine is included in the subscription fee. 2008 BBKA Forum

Published Sep 5, 2008

BBKA Logo

The Forum is intended to provide an opportunity for the membership to raise and debate issues on any topic relevant to the BBKAs’ mission of promoting Bees and Beekeeping in the UK and on the support services provided by headquarters.

It’s a sounding board for delegates to articulate ideas, refine concepts and gather support for what might be taken forward as a Proposition at a subsequent ADM. No votes are taken nor decisions made, the only executive intervention is to close down the debate as per agenda timings.

The Forum Agenda will be finalised on the 13th September so all suggested items must be with the General Secretary by Wednesday 10th September 2008. Each Association has been allocated four places and the names of attendees must also be forwarded to me by the 10th. You will be able to download the finalised Forum Agenda when available from the Members' Area.

So if you have an issue you think needs debating contact your Association Secretary and book your slot TODAY.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided but for cost reasons you will have to bring your own lunch.

Look forward to meeting you on the 4th October 2008.

Mike Harris
General Secretary
