Join BIBBA the Bee Improvement and Bee Breeding Association

 Get involved in bee breeding. Like all other forms of life bees can be improved by selective breeding. BIBBA encourages beekeepers to work together in breeding groups. Much has been achieved but more could be done by beekeepers working together. Subs are £20 per annum and the Bee Improvement magazine is included in the subscription fee. Beekeepers at Parliament

Subject proposed to be raised on the Motion for the Adjournment of the House in Westminster Hall on Tuesday 17 June 2008.

Tuesday 17th June
MPs will debate Conservative opposition day motions (topics yet to be announced). In Westminster Hall debates Willie Rennie is due to speak on the impact of military operations on the development and reconstruction of Helmand Province, Afghanistan, and Roger Williams is due to speak on the future of the bee industry. Additionally, Susan Kramer has obtained a short debate on the abuse of powers of attorney relating to the elderly.

We understand that Defra will have to respond to Ian Gibson (Labour) whose motion it is.  It is then likely that Bill Wiggin on behalf of the Conservatives will contribute plus the liberal democrat spokesman.
