Join BIBBA the Bee Improvement and Bee Breeding Association

 Get involved in bee breeding. Like all other forms of life bees can be improved by selective breeding. BIBBA encourages beekeepers to work together in breeding groups. Much has been achieved but more could be done by beekeepers working together. Subs are £20 per annum and the Bee Improvement magazine is included in the subscription fee. National Honey Show News

So far – 8th October – there are 1118 entries, and, of course, there are the late entries still to come. They come from Gambia, Mauritius, Ukraine as well as the UK and Ireland.

Honey - National Honey Show 2007

The trade and educational areas are fully booked – in fact we even have a waiting list, in case of cancellations.

The ten workshops are now almost fully booked – over 80 people have registered for them. The introduction to beekeeping workshops are even attracting people from abroad. The toiletries workshop has proved to be so popular that Dr Sara Robb has agreed to run another one on the Friday, running for two hours.

Disabled Facilities
St George's College is disabled-friendly, and, except for one room at the top of the building, is accessible by wheelchairs. There are also three wheelchair-friendly toilets.

Catering
There is good economically priced on-site catering.
